Local member supports redevelopment

In late December on her first full day in her electoral office as the new Member for Northcote, Lidia Thorpe invited Thornbury High's Principal Michael Keenan to meet and discuss funding. She remains very supportive of the school's redevelopment plans, naming Thornbury High in her maiden speech in parliament in relation to the need for full funding of each stage of development, and also in her first question to Education Minister James Merlino in parliament question time.
